National Restaurant Supply (NRS) is a full-service provider for the foodservice industry, offering our local, national, and international clients a complete selection of quality equipment, supplies, and design services.

NRS has three locations with offices, warehouses, and showrooms:

History
When Irving Gulbas was asked in the late 1950s to develop an equipment and supply (E&S) package for an El Pasoan grocery store, he couldn’t have known what the results would be. He claimed not to know “a French whip from a sausage grinder,” but by the mid-1960s, Gulbas had split his refrigeration company, National Refrigeration Co., from the original family business and renamed the business National Restaurant Supply (NRS).

Since then, NRS has prospered: it has gone from $3 million in sales in the 1970s to more than $35 million currently, and Foodservice Equipment & Supplies (FES) Magazine has rated NRS in the top one hundred dealers for twenty-five years in a row. Today, NRS remains a family owned and operated company, as it was more than fifty years ago.

Services
NRS’ contract and design departments provide full service planning from concept to completion of food service and dining facility projects. NRS designers utilize the latest concepts in computer-aided design, and they have extensive experience working with facilities of all sizes. They also can advise on all project components.
